Oliver52 sent me these images of some Fraulines on display at the NMHA National Rally at Mudgee this weekend and asked that I post them for him. Done with pleasure.

Dodge almost brings me to tears, even though mine was a D5N, not an AT4.
A long, long time ago....
I still have bits of it.

But did yah buy it ???

I shoulda bought my dream machine well over 30 years ago

1418, pusher lazy axel, big square tanks
Spreadable Fruehauf on hydraulic suspension, deck and half crate
Pure porn even as a younger bloke

Sadly I can not go back in time

Probably please my Mrs Mack though
They were so uncool, that made them even cooler if that makes any sense
A clearing sale I should of bid harder at and showed no mercy

My Mother had a saying for my father and her boys about the after clearing sale discussions that were known as "The clearing sale post mortem"
Who would of thought all these decades later I would still be pining for the one that got away ?

Paul, we've all got those in our lives. Should have bought it, should have kept it. Yep, we've all got them, sadly.

Yep, if I still had all of the old bangers (cars), I bought in the '70s and '80s, I could afford a top of the range Western Star, now. :(

Ian, some of those I have owned and lost:
1940 Willys tourer, (rodded). GTR Torana, SLR Torana, and believe it or not a genuine GT500 Cortina, '26 Chev tourer but the one I probably regret selling the most was my 1934 Plymouth. All sold at the time of building a young family and life getting in the road and taking predcedence.
