Well it be THAT day again, and I've been slack in putting up pics as I know you blokes can't get enough of the German ladies..
Lets see what i can find/pinch from the book of face etc..
This was up at Bernie Quirk's place near Ballarat, he used to wreck the old girls, and was quite the expert I believe. Sadly retired now, and possibly gone away travelling?
Same place - a crane he made out of guess what? Complete with absolute killer of a blue heeler, that turned from slathering vicious rabid dog, into friendly good natured nice dog the instant it jumped out of the truck and hit the ground.
And no idea on this one, apologies if it's been up before.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers

Seed I reckon it was a 1413 (wish i could remember who posted it- Greenie perhaps? ) he said it was shockingly slow.
Dad had one on car carrying, running Brisbane Melbourne of course, and I think he hated it too. Broken crankshafts was a common issue I think?
Then again, imagine the workload on what I guess was 130HP engine, gee wizz...and they thought 1418's were slow with 180HP, the 1413's must have taken slow to a whole new level.
But that was the era I guess. Run what ya had, just sit there and steer it. Then do it again.

Mairjimmy, that is a rare truck... Not for me though, I'v got more than enough junk! (although truthfully I'd stretch that for a W model or T900..)
I've never actually seen another 1413 in the flesh. Are they 6 cy or 4 cyl?
