Pauly, I wonder if that blue and white Frauline was part of a fleet? The colors are familiar, like Kraft- but they were grey and blue. Mine was blue and white like that too, when she was dragged out of the paddock....
Pretty sad, the poor old thing.

But much happier now!

A big load of wool for the old girl with a silly wheel pusher..

And this just reminded me of days gone by, when being on the highway felt like an adventure..Specially in a 1418!

Hello FRAULINE FRIDAY

The truckload of Goggomobils parked at the Punchbowl, Sydney factory of Bill Buckle Motors in 1959-1961. The load of cars- five Darts and one sedan is about to travel south to the Finlay Brothers dealership in Melbourne.

Blue Metal and Gravel or BMG as it was known operated a quarry at Prospect west of Parramatta where blue metal had been extracted for road building since early days in the colony. I took this photo in 1971.

And i meant to mention, the bloke with the big load of wool, with silly wheel pusher, that prodrive posted last week is a family friend of now 50+ years. That photo would have been taken in the mid north, or more likely lower Flinders Ranges of South Australia.

Brett.
