This Bertha Benz. She was the first person, man or woman, to drive a car outside the immediate vicinity of the workshop.

Not too bad looking as a bonus!


 

This is a great video of her trip.

We are having lunch at the Pharmacy near Heidelberg in Germany (still going) where Bertha bought the Ligroin - Naptha or dry cleaning fluid. The German Vintage Car club are hosting us in April when we pass through with the Bean.
