There was a green twin steer lnt8000 louie working around Brisbane in 1978-9 I saw it working on the Kedron Brook flood mittagation work done by the brisbane city council, it looked to be factory built to the eyes of a 14 year old truck nutLOL, I've got my next trip to Nimbin planned already guys.
Interesting bit of history.
There was at least one 8X4 LNT 8000 up here too, I think Tramenco did the conversion on it.
It had the forward front axle as in LNT though as standard with another axle behind it.
Would Ford have used an American LTS bonnet on that as a prototype?
I do have a photo here of an LTS with a 903 in it, it was definatly a re-power though, replaced the Tractortipper motor.
