Run from Melbourne on the Friday.

? Which way to go.

Up thru Bendigo or Heathcote.

Both have pro's and con's

Think anyone from the west side of Melbourne might head up thru Bendigo and meet the blokes from Geelong/Ballarat at Maryborough that's unless the Geelong boys want to come up to Bacchus Marsh and head up thru Gisborne.

The boys from the east/north side probably best to head up through Heathcote.

Which way is everyone planning????

Now it easy just follow the attached map (no mud map like shambles days)

Once you head out west at the big tee intersection turn left (Sorry slight detour late orders) right go nearly to the top and pick up Bugly (make sure the ladders are tied on tight) hint turn the lights and sirens on and you can now wind the old girl out to full noise you will then back track a little and then take a right turn keep going and the big blue bath should end up out the drivers window when you see this you know your getting closer keep heading down the left coast when you get down near the bottom drop in to Onetracks kick his ar$e give him a slap around the ears and tell him to get back on the forum, now just down the road you will need to pick up the second trailer, go around to Old Bobs throw his Inter on the back (about time he got a free ride across the paddock) now head for the next big tee intersection you will meet up with a bloke from Tacho's Towbars he will unhook his caravan which you will throw on behind Bobs inter, Unhook the second trailer Tacho will take that he then knows all the short cuts to Echuca, remember to give a toot to the boat on the river taking your picture.

Safe travelling (watch out for all the Horses, camels, cows etc etc)(& bag trolleys)

See you when you get there we will all be waiting.

Slospeed,

I come from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. And I usually go via bendigo to go up to echuca.

As it is a lot easier to go on the main highways through Melbourne instead of all the back roads to weave around to the Hume. Not to mention the ACCO isn't very quick so the dual lanes all the way to bendigo and then the straight flattish roads from there to echuca. Makes it easier for people to get past.
