They will carry me to the field
Through the wreaths of mist
Moist on my face
And the lamb will pause
For a thoughtful stare
The soldiers they will come.
They will lay me into the cold dark earth
And push the clods in apon my face.

(John Marsden)

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Another true one from my teenage years:

When I was about 13 or 14 we lived in the country and a friend of my Father was moving to town. He came to our place and during a discussion about things he had to get rid of, he showed us his 22 caliber pistol. He must have seen how I drooled over it and asked would I like to have it. I knew I would not be allowed to, so with much regret I said no.

More about this friend another time. You will just have to wait.:woohoo:
