Fuel Running Cost

You tell the driver to get and pull it by hand the fuel cost starts to look pretty cheap

I agree Morris, no matter what excuses they put up it is all about ripping the diesel users off.

not saying there isn't some gouging going on but it is mostly supply and demand has swung in favour of the oil companies.

Didn't notice anyone was complaining when fuel prices dropped closer to a $1 during COVID and lockdowns,in Victoria at least, because there was excess supply and relatively small demand at the time.

Plus didn't the Government remove some taxes to get it that low?

Our dollar is down to two thirds of bugger all as well doesn’t help still doesn’t explain why diesel is dearer then petrol

Here in the UK petrol is around £1 - 59p/litre with Diesel about 30p/litre more, i.e. £1 - 89. With 1.79 Au Dollars to the £ that works out at about 3.38 Au Dollars/litre.

Our local servo today had diesel at AU$1.27.5/litre down by AU$0.02 from 2 days ago.

Port Lincoln SA , diesel is down to 2.32 down from 2.37 a week ago.

We pay dearly here, for living in paradise.

Here in Sydney NSW everything here is on the BOHICA system. ( Bend Over Here It Comes Again.
