Yet another great expansion to the diversity of this thread. I have run out of stock, but hopefully Paul has more (and other members might find some?).

Here are two of a Heritage & Heritage Holden Statesman hearse, at the Wantirna site.

Heritage is a family name, and the company had been Heritage & Harper.
See: www.heritagefunerals.com.au (which covers everything except the hearses available).

Sitting under the front canopy of the Wantirna funeral parlour, Heritage & Heritage has its now-retired horse hearse. I asked about it, and was told that insurance was prohibitive.

Enclosed also is a copy of a photo in the entry foyer, showing it in use when the company was Heritage & Harper.

I am duplicating this post to the horse thread.

Heritage & Heritage, Wantirna (Melbourne, Vic.): Horse hearse. Tues.16.4.13. (Roderick Smith)

Here is one which I suspect was improvised by bikie mates for the funeral of a murdered bikie. Hence, it may not be commercial.

Melbourne 'Herald Sun' used to run an item in its auto section every week on a vintage/classic vehicle which has been preserved (cars and trucks). Some of the members of this group may have been featured.
Here is one on a hearse built from a ute.
The article appeared in Sat.11.10.03 'HS'.

Does anyone remember the Alvin Purple movies made in Aussie in the early to mid 1970s-bloody funny. In the second movie-Alvin Rides Again-I think, the bad guy drove a Ford Ranch wagon hearse like the one Rod posted. If you've seen the movies you'll remember the girl's cricket team-talk about short skirts.

Hi all

This is a couple of years back when I went with a mate to pick up a retired Daimler DS420 Hearse

These are based on the Jaguar MkX/420G body

Hi Seth, you need to link the individual photo's with the img code.
You've got the whole album in between the img codes mate.

Topic Variance:

The links you are using do not link to a picture file.
They cannot work as they are not 'pointing' to an image of any description.

To achieve a correct picture post from that vendor:

In Flickr, go to the 'share' icon
Select html /bbcode
At the bottom of that dialog box, Select BBCODE checkbox BEFORE you copy the code.
Continue back to your forum post creation window and paste that code in.

Hope that helps somewhat..
