Have seen some early English vans cruisin of late and some look pretty tough even some of the rat variety.
Here are two that I've crossed paths with that weren't criusin.

This one is of the ford variety not for sale but on display.

classic lines on these old fords. Wheelbase looks short though.

It's a morris "Y" What year ?

Make a good grocery getter. Was for sale at Rocklea July 13. May have sold but have details if askin.

Those adds for the chocy co help make them English vans even more popular. I think the choc one is a morris "J"
maybe?
There must be heaps of early commercial vans out there like anglia's and prefects.
If you've seen any or If you have some pic's from back then (even early Mr Whippy had pommie vans) I'd like to look.

Yessir!! That purple Morris JB Van is the ORIGINAL Bugly!! ;D ;D I did the mechanical restoration, and was close to starting the body when I sold it to the chocolate factory! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hey Albion - you wouldn't know if the people who own the wagon in the top photo have a spare wheel for it? I'm chasing one for one of my projects, which is an ex-oneofthese Fordson 10/10 commercial vans that has been cut down to an 'extra-cab' pickup. 8-)

Bugly, reckon the one in the top photo is just down the road from you mate......................Alice Springs at a guess.
Albion, the one that was for sale belonged to Lang who is on the forum when he isn't jet-setting around the globe. Pretty sure it was sold to another club member at the show who was having a bit of handbrake trouble over it.

Wonder what it would look like on three wheels and one concrete block? ;D ;D

The horn was put on by the chocolate people. I had all the badges and grille trim re-chromed in silver, then the chocy department went and changed all of the chrome bits to yellow chrome.

It has scrubbed up well though, and sure gets around. I believe if was taken to NZ for its first 'Joyville' filming, then brought back to Oz.

Viva la Buglyvan!!! ;) ;)
