Hey Fargo 1,it would be great to restore something that had been in the family for ages, like your pops 34 Fargo. You seem to be missing surface rust,I've got loads of it if you want some lol.

I had a bit of a win today with history tracking of my 35, :)

Fargie & son ,carriers from Orange, were apparently John Walter Fargie (1883-1944) and his son Clyde Walter (1908-1968) ,I believe the business was run by Clyde in the late 30,s and 40,s .I got this info from Clydes nephew Terry,am hoping to get more info, would love to get hold of some pics of them with the truck, that would be the icing on the cake.

More pics of progress to be posted soon, watch this space lol. :)

Damn and blast, had my engine guru here today and the old donk has had a hard life,so,its looking like a rebore ,new pistons/rings ,and may even go for new valve guide stems.

I have been getting my stuff from the US,can anyone suggest an Australian supplier of flathead Dodge bits ? Cost of postage from the states is killing me.
