Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

PDR doesn't always work the best on proper steel, particularly on a big curve.
Fill's dent there also has a big edge all around. Most likely the paint is gunna crack as the dent comes out.

Hi, I rang a PDR mob. The guy said mate ! I don"t do trucks ! I said it not a big truck it is about the size of a F100. He said mate ! I don "t do trucks! he was quite rude. I rang another firm. As I was talking and giving my address he said he just drove past my house. He did a U turn and he was there. (I live on a main road ) He would do it on site. He said he will be able to get the dent out. He is not sure if the paint is already cracked as the light was not great. The painter said to give it a go. The painter has only seen photos. He said he thought he would have to weld on spikes to pull it out (I do not remember what they are called). You can not get behind it, as there is a metal lining. The guy has a factory and said he has been doing it for more than ten years.. Thanks for your concerns and help, watch this space. Cheers Fill

Hi All, I do not know what you were all worried about. The guy came around on time (Q B Dent Free). Nice guy to deal with. he looks very young but he was thirty ( guess that is still young ).It took him about two hours. He started by heating the paint and the metal with a heat gun. He got a nail punch, with a rubber end on it. He went all the way around the dent with the punch using a small panel beater's hammer. He then got a hooked bar with a rubber end and pushed at the dent. He had a great light to see were the dent was being pushed. He used the nail punch I think to relieve the edge. He must have done this about fifty times and each time hit the nail punch about ten times. Any way all fixed and paint stood up well. Thanks for looking. Cheers Fill

Seems like a bloke who deserves a plug!
Great outcome. I'll bet you feel better, now.
