Thank you very much for the info and great to come across someone with first hand knowledge of these trucks
I was originally after an international but this popped up at the right price and it was a runner
Has more rust than first thought but thats ok as its all fixable
It does have the external vacum advance on it where the carbie turns as the revs increase

I had another look at the first Photo on the Tilt tray and zoomed in on it and now I am pretty sure it is the 15 hundredweight model as the longer wheelbase had about a 10 foot body. Mine had an 8 foot long body and it was 6 feet wide. They were quite heavy for their size as the Steel Cab is heavy as well as the bigger gearbox and diff. The body on mine was fairly heavy and I recall being told at a weighbridge that because of the heavy tare, my Legal load was less than 1/2 ton, but back then nobody took much notice of such things. It had 7.50 x 16 Tyres. Cheers Kav.

If I remember correctely from cab to chassis is around 2.7-2.8 m and the tray that basically fell to bits measured around 3m

The S25 referring to 25cwt load capacity is much more sensible than my guess at the vehicle tare weight.

Here are the lubrication instructions for your truck. 9 different types of oil and grease for a service - I don't think so even for the first dealer warranty service!

Stripping back coming along
Went to have tyres removed to be able to clean up wheels but unfortunately I have a busted locking rim and realized I need a spare so I'm on the hunt.

Give us the bolt pattern measurements. Might be able to find a fit. Measure the bolts across the middle of the wheel i e from the centre of number 1 across to centre of number 4. Be very accurate as there are only a few mm between metric and imperial.

You never know as the poms were doing funny things during that period. For example Morris Minors went from 4 inch studs to 100mm and SOME other things on the car became metric.

That's right, to work on a Morris Minor you needed two sets of tools one British and the other metric. Rootes might have had the same brain freeze.

I found out on my OKA (Ford/Chev Dana 8 stud) that Ford changed from imperial to metric in early 90's. Look the same but a couple of mm difference stops interchange. 30/40's Chevrolet cars and utes had the Toyota Landcruiser bolt pattern.

You might just be lucky.
