Maybe some creative accounting.
After Haulin and the drama with blocked jets in the carby have pulled the tank out. Remember this is the tank that was cleaned and coated by the same bloke that did my original radiator.
What was found was a bloody disgrace.
Tank removed, lots of loose crap feel out
Part of fuel gauge (didn't work)
Fuel gauge removed
This is the mess in the tank after it had been rinsed out a couple of times
As all the coating had run down to the bottom and was rock hard the only thing to try and get rid of it was some paint stripper.
Nice mess also thru in some nuts and washer to help a little as it rotated around in the mixer.
After running some degreaser thru and washing it out 4 times this is what I have got still to clean out.
Will try again in a few days to get it fully clean before I re seal it properly this time.

Bugly it's a wonder the old girl even ran with the amount of crap.
Old Scrap man am finally having some success with the washers.
Mrsmackpaul. Will see what Tommorow brings when I try a little more, am down to the last sticky glue like substance.
Max. I think if its done properly it should work fine got a funny feeling that all he did was put the sealer in without all the primer and cleaning before.
I am re sealing it with this product
www.kbs-coatings.com.au/kbs-auto-fuel-tank-sealer-kit
Should be resealing next week some time so will see how it goes.
