..heard an airhorn blast go past the workshop at about 10.00 am, looked out and saw about 40 or 50 late model big banger prime movers heading up the ring road thinking, wow, ''this is gonna be a big turnout !''

it comes to pass that they were heading to the fawkner cemetery for the passing of an ol' mate...does anyone know who ?

You would hope they were 1/4 way by 10am but most of them are only driving yankee iron they could be half way there by then. . Dave
