I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

Pity to have such a nicely restored vehicle just sitting outside under a car port.

Hi,

Um err, Renault made them as a trucks too ya?

Seen today alive and real somewhere in Adelaide.

Shiny black metal at the front and... padded black vinyl coach work (well thats what it looked like to me).

That style of coachwork was referred to as "Fabric Body" and was mainly restricted to the up-market end of vehicles, but it was fitted to some as common as Austin 7s and Model A Fords.

I spotted this old girl earning her keep on Friday.

It was in a boatyard and the operator of the crane asked if I was from Work-Cover when I took the photos.

We also have a local Bobcat operator who drives and old Commer tipper and he's been driving the same truck for at least 25 years as he did some work for us with that truck. He works for the local School so I'll try and get a photo of the truck.

What you might call a drive by shooting. No one about to ask questions, but only recent arrival in this yard, ready for rebuilding?????.
Not a local truck by a fair way (Victoria) but looks familiar, will have to trawl through my photos.

looked like new batteries had been installed.
