Mixing of paints is a funny game Swishy. When I wanted to paint the shed I thought I'd mix all my old "left-over" tins of paint and paint it hashmagandy . . .
Unfortunately you don't end up with black, not even a dirty brown,or some other sludgy colour as you might expect it to do. Red is used as a base colour in a lot of different colours of paint apparently - and when I was finished I had a lovely tin of pink!
NB My shed is definitely not Barbie Pink!!!
Which gives the next question:
Why is the Oodnadatta Roadhouse painted the colour that it is? :lol:

Brownman and the Swish....I was the youngest of 4 boys...I think when my parents looked at me in the nursery..They looked at each other and said "lets call it quits"

I didn't know why the Roadhouse was pink PDU, so I googled it. Thanks for the prompt to read an interesting story.
