The axle spacing on those two jinkers is interesting. Almost as though one is back to front on the pole.

The pic of this Merc is shocking but the truck deserves a mention, it is a single drive with fridge box on the back and V10 power, lives in Port Lincoln

I remember Syke's big jiggers sitting behind his depot in Belmont (Geelong) where spolight etc is now. There was a cabover Benz too, I was kinda interested in buying one but didn't have the gumption. He was a hard old fella too, he used to run a few trucks, all Geelong - Perth etc, he had an old W model day cab, which was one of the first to road train across the Nullabor asked him "where do the drivers sleep mate, do you get them a motel or something? " To which he replied firmly "No bloody fear, the drivers know the deal"...

hmm lets see....
One i bought and sold a few years back. had a lovely bogie strap trailer on it, shoulda kept it, of course...
Pretty sure this Frauline is now in Ballarat being done up (O'neill's, from memory?   

 

  


This is a local fella's, he used to be a mechanic when 1418'2 were all the rage, so he loved em..
