Glad to be able to help Detective .... Yours also has a Tassie connection as it was later renumbered 3SA125 for TNT Seafast ... The Tassie division
One other useless bit of info ......fleet number 157 in my post above once had a 7 speed Spicer fitted as a test .... About 1979

...i've just gotta bring this topic right back up to the top, if only because of my very laid back son Glen and his great mates playing with no less than three old mid seventies linehaul bangers....his old TNT KT125 with 8V71N and ol' mates' two very special Ansett slim cab 1977 models...both 8V92N ....one particularly is the 3000th Kenny to be made (sold?) in Australia....and still surprisingly, all these lovely old jiggers are remarkably unvarnished by any latter day trimmings
....they're all in very original (if tired) condition, and the plan is to soldier up the ''Crawlin' the Hume'' run in a few months time....
....i have a fair idea they're posting stuff on facebook : : : and they are having a bloody ball amongst themselves.....thanks Werkhorse for this great ongoing thread......cheers and happy new year to all

Had some withdrawls Ritchie ???
Yeah its 1PA295
Now for some interesting news .... well interesting to me and "the Boss" ....
I started this thread to find out some info on the truckI was driving for him .... with only a bit of wishful thinking that I might find something out ...
... Well last weekend I finally pieced most of it together. The old SAR is....
ch.no. 407617
Fleet no. KA290
Original SA rego RI 9125
Next Fed rego VV98CA
then Tassie rego CQ4133
and finally the rego it wears now
only thing I need to find out is why TNT painted it red chassis/white cab before they sent it here to Tassie to work for them.
