Now for some interesting news .... well interesting to me and "the Boss" ....

I started this thread to find out some info on the truckI was driving for him .... with only a bit of wishful thinking that I might find something out ...

... Well last weekend I finally pieced most of it together. The old SAR is....

Original SA rego RI 9125
Next Fed rego VV98CA
then Tassie rego CQ4133
and finally the rego it wears now

only thing I need to find out is why TNT painted it red chassis/white cab before they sent it here to Tassie to work for them.

...g'day werk .. she may have been traded to Kenworth's or whoever and painted ready for resale... only to find they needed a jigger for a new or extended contract.... then there she is :-* :-* :-*... back in fleet colours!

The thing is Detective .... I have found quite a few that got the same paint but still worked at TNT ..... Got me buggered .... Least the "boss" finally has an answer to the question he asked me ....

Werk, when I worked for TNT in Brisbane they had a contract with Angliss I think it was, they had one slim line over there in the Angliss colours pretty much permanent then the other fleet trucks would help out when it was busy. The colours were white cab, red at the bottom of the cab and a red chassis.

I'd guess your SAR was just in with a permanent contract with one of their customers. Look at BillyP's pictures for example.
