I have a soft spot for the ol Schnitzels or 'Windmills' as my nephew called them when he was young..
He was certain that the badge on the front looked like a 'Windmill'
He was quite distressed when the 'Windmill' truck wasn't at Uncle Ricks anymore.

1994 model. Gary at Whites diesels always called it the Freightliner door model. We had 3 of these, a 911, a 2628 6x6.(v8 about 89 model). & a couple of Unimogs.

This old girl lives in Jamberoo. He came to rescue on of my drivers out of a gully. Hand painted job. He has a single drive tipper too.


This one was spotted in a yard out of Benalla. Couple of R190's & other inters as well.

The one outside Benalla is just the cab and chassic left the rest has been stripped. Although it has a set of huge fuel tankson each side. I think it a 1970 model as it has the three wiper blades and the extra switches on the dash.
