Finally pulled some pics off my phone camera. This KW I shot 12 months ago at a carnival ride at Batemans Bay, the name of the carnies escapes me. Heading back there this January. I also remember them having an old big cab Atkinson. Ill take the camera while the mob are milking my funds dry, to see what else I can spot.

Hi, the Bell's Amusements KW above, is a 923 delivered about 66-67. The W model was not released in the US until about late 1963, in Australia the 1st W's started being delivered around mid 67.

Swishy,
Bit more info that may be of use.
My list shows the MMBW as a 923 not "W"
Ed Camerons book, page 41 has a picture captioned as the first W924 arriving in Melbourne about 1963 and used as a demonstrator.
But the listing I've got shows the first W model as delivered in June 1967 - 106552 a W923 to Russ King in Queensland.
There's one shown for Hugh Waugh early on. 101150, a 955 with NT-280, twin stick with F233-W front axle and SQDD rears. Could this be the 6x6 you mentioned and Ed Camerons talks about in his book?
Correction: first W model by chassis number was June '67 but the first by delivered date is the Carson's Northern Timber (referred to in my later post) and a W923 to the Snowy Mountain Authority
