No worries, Just looks a LOT like their colours.
But as My wife keeps telling Me Wrong again (still) :-[

don't mind...
And those that mind....
don't matter." -

Gidday fellas,
New member here, sorry to drag up an old thread but i found this one very interesting especially as quite a few of the very early Bayswater assembled KWs ended up here in NZ.

400001 was written off and someone salvaged the cab and turned it into a mobile DJ booth/trailer.

400015 is currently for sale over here on trademe.co.nz but it's in a bit of a sorry state. Hopefully someone can save the old girl. See pics below

NRJ47, Hello mate, welcome to the forum. I have strong ties to The Land of The Long White Cloud and like to hear about anything related to transport. I have occasionally PM'ed and texted a couple of Kiwi members of this forum. I look on TradeMe most days but not for trucks because of the ditch.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Here's the link to 400015 if anybody wants to have a look. Would be a real shame if it gets wrecked for parts.

Yea apparently the fuel companies specced them like that. 400015 is an ex Shell oil unit. Here's a couple more photos of some 3 rear window units The blue one is 400002 and is currently being restored. Not my photos
