RAAF and DCA operated these S&D "street flushers" during the 50s-60s for airport protection. Planes didn't fly real fast back then.

MFB also had a few as grass fire tankers.

I don't recognise the 1920's fire engine. The radiator looks more like Guy than any Albion I have see. I have read that in England, Shelvoke and Drewery's were nick named "Slow and Dreary."

I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
