Hi,

And, rattling around here somewhere on the forum is a recent tale about converting an exMelbourne Airport one of the above to a mobile home.
(I can't find it for a link - even for a free drink.) :(

It shows the massive mechanical underpinnings that make all the wheels go around.

Wish I could find it :'(

Now, this is a fire engine:



We took "The Beast" in from Penrith to the city for the Australia Day car display yesterday


We managed to pick up this little accessory for it on eBay recently, brand new still in the box:

It is a 1929 Ahrens Fox.

It did rain a bit, but the most part it was only drizzle.

Yes Swish it is, and a fine truck. Also used by Melbourne FB. :-)
This one is a DLK23-12 Niederer Bauart with a 256 Horse F8L413L Deutz engine behind the cab !
