I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................
I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

Spotted this last week at Broke NSW
Not a fire engine now ......BUT
This Thornycroft Nubian, 6X6 was a fire tender at Mascot aerodrome , then finished its days at
Bankstown aerodrome , before being converted to the motor home you see, all the resto & build up
was done by one bloke & his wife , who, have lived & toured in it for the last 20 years.

Copied across from the events section, the 2014 HCVC Yarra Glen display thread.
All were taken on Sun.9.11.14, by me.

'Tabmarry' pumper. Google Earth isn't finding this place. Was it a name for use in tv/film?
International & Leyland
International history (probably the most-comprehensive such panel at the show)

I guess that this at least started life as a CFA fire tanker, and could well have finished in the same guise. It could also have been converted to a poison sprayer, or a fertiliser sprayer, or a septic-tank emptying pump.
