It almost looks like they used glass from another truck they had laying around.
This is my old girl as found.

By contrast that's a pretty disgusting cab fitted to the truck in the last two photos I posted.

Looks like somebody put a tipper body up and forgot that the shed roof wasn't high enough to take it.

If you like AEC's & Albions we will have plenty of them on display at the Hunter Valley Vintage Truck Muster in two weeks time. A couple of them below.

Is a pommy truck supposed to look as good as the last photo?

AEC Mandator loaded with brand new XK Falcons ex Melbourne on a Fruehauf trailer. Name painted out on drivers door was R.H. O,Regan who my friend was a subbie for before contract went sour, hence name painted out, phone # remaining. Photo taken in Isabella St. Nth Parramatta. Owner was Danny Minturn. Still with us and healthy at age 89. Love the "big" mirrors, and the hand signal above the door.

Yeah, Wayne, old mate I bought it off left one of the spouts up on the bins.
Thanks, Fageol100, she's a bit if all right. I just wish I had time to get her done.

The Falcons on the flattop trailer look like XK models - 1960/61 - the parking lights are in the grill, not the bumper.

My mistake. I have corrected it. I'm not clued up on early Falcons, I thought XM was the first. Thanks for the info. The Falcons on the flattop trailer look like XK models - 1960/61 - the parking lights are in the grill, not the bumper.
