When i bought it all home
First job to remove the silly wheel or pusher axle
I think i payed $7.ooo for the P/mover and $3,ooo
for the trailer. I just remembered when i hooked it up
at Camden i held it on the chassis with 4 big G clamps
and drove it home with no trailer brakes conected.
They wuold throw you in jail for 5 lifetimes now
The things you used to get away with.......

Blankets on the seats must have been an industry standard on Dodges and Inters.I remember a couple of my fathers mates had Dodges, all of them had blankets on the seats.

Cam, great pics. After driving mine down from Swan Hill friday night I reckon the blanket on the seat was needed to keep handy for throwing over you legs when it turned cold. :
I certainly would like to find an overdrive box for mine and a faster diff so that it could sit on 100kph at 2100 rpm.
Old dog, looks like you had a great rig. Certainly presented well without the bullbar, and added chrome hub caps and matching paint for the trailer.

I think bucket seats you would use a towel and bench seats
a blanket . It used to stop me legs sticking to the seat. They
were a hot cab with fiberglass "dog house" protruding into the cab
to fit the Cummins. Come to think if it they all had blankets............
