Been a bit busy plus it's winter & to cold to get enthused.
Going to pick up cab in the next week or so & I'm waiting on a mate who may have found a donor truck.
Not a chassis number any where on the chassis. One I looked at had the number on the rear cross member. Mine has been removed & a make shift one put in it's place. I'd say it was damaged as it was a timber jinker in it's earlier life.

Hi Cro...keep up the good work...as and when you can.
.... found the ch/no on all the Commers i've looked at on the rear crossmember... from a 1948 R model to a 1972/3 CEGV 815. They can be a little hard to find, but if your rear crossmember is still riveted on, the number should show up....Cheers mate.
