Cro, Do you need the complete Hub to Hub Assembly? or just the Diff Centre?

Seed, I thought that it would be easier to get a rear end for the truck, that was in better condition then the one I currently have. My existing one has the diff housing spring sets, hangers & axels only, no diff centre, the hangers are in bad condition needing a lot of work to get them serviceable, but the bigger problem is that I cannot get the R/H brake drum off. A mate came around the other day & suggested that we can strip the L/H side, including spring pack, as with the R/H side spring pack & then place the whole right hand package into a drum of diesel for a while. This may loosen up said brake arrangement enough to get drum off so we can start restoration.
I would still need to build up the worn spring hangers ETC & then drill them out & then new pins & bushes. This is why I was looking for the whole assy that may have been in better condition needing pins & bushes only.
To answer Quickly I think an Eaton NO 4 4.1- 1 diff centre would suffice. :
Anyone looking for a 5 ton Commer ?

Cro, I would think that a No.4 Eaton From any Truck of that era would fit..
Provided the chassis rails are the same centres, you could just swap one hangers & all over to your truck..

yes agree Seed, but I have decided to keep going by using existing components & utilising bits from my new donor truck.
The main reason for this was that my truck was 10 stud while the donor is 8.
I have been able to use lots from the donor including brake bits, windscreen & rubbers, door hinges & numerous other parts, so the purchase of the donor truck ended a wise move.
I ended up turning the diff with the seized drum up on it's end & filling the brake drum with diesel to soak for a while.
After two weeks of bashing the drum I drained the diesel & with a lot more bad language, the drum finely came free.
The reason for the stuck drum, a rats nest inside the brake assy. Everything was rusted & in a bad way. Lucky I had a donor brake assy for that side.
No picks of this event but have some of the end result.

Need some help with my air/hydraulic brake system. I pulled the master cylinder ? apart which seemed to be in good shape as far as I could tell. Gave it a bit of a clean on the out side & before replacing internal "O" rings cannot see any other parts that need replacing other than cleaning.
If anyone could help with what to look for internally along with a simple diagram of how it's supposed to work would be very thank full.
Picks of master cylinder?
