I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Swishy, I think it was Mae West who said when I am good etc. Or was it Marilyn Monroe?
Mae certainly said in a movie "Come up and see me some time"

Certainly was Mae West, BUT this is getting too far off B for even though side chatter is interesting . . .
Thanks

Still off topic, but since we were talking about the much maligned Malcolm,
I remember a witty and pithy bumper sticker from that time

Hi PDU.
Bit late the party, can confirm that the aw4 is an excellent box from my own experience with a jeep 4.0 that's been turboed and abused.
Am interested to see how you set up the shifting given its a solenoid box?
Cheers
Jacko.

That's all long range Jacko, much water may flow under the bridge before anything happens with the Jeep engine . . .
Tray framework is taking shape . . .
Four inches minimum of clearance above tyre/springs . . .
Rear tyre hangs outside by three and a half inches, this is where I need half a fender. This was done to keep the tray narrower (6' 2") and to break up what will be a plain flat side
Lots of welding to be completed, just connecting the crossmembers to the side rails and adding a lower rail, with a lot more to come across the back - which is a developing saga!?!?

Seems like I'm constantly fossicking about with various bits of tubing, rearranging things and generally moving on, but without making much change . . . a bit like the old recording "spinning my wheels in the sand"
Despite this it is progressing, the changes are to suit the placement of flooring (not the usual planks) and regarding rear access with my envisaged final result in mind. Confusing, particularly without any pictures, and I apologise for this - but they wouldn't show much difference.
Three days to my deadline and even though things are close it is not looking very promising!?
PS Sorry about the head Pierre, I have had so much going on around here that I clean forgot all about it until now. Not sure when I'm heading south again, not for a while, but it will happen eventually.
