Paint looks terrific!

I really like the cream wheels, and i reckon the lock rings done in black might suit better than red?

Thank you all for your quick feedback. You have confirmed my decision to go cream on the wheels.

Red would have made it look too much like a fire engine (despite the top half) and this was accentuated when my two year old grandson saw B for for the first time and said, "firetruck"

I had been intending to avoid using red for this very reason, and after seeing a Bedford on an English website decided to go with the cream colour as used up top. This also happened when I painted my Herald and I have photos of it with red and/or cream wheels (albeit with the luxury of chrome trim rings and hubcaps).

NB   Black however was never an option for me, not even on the outer edges (sorry Brett) . . . think back to the red line tyres that used to be fitted to cars a few decades ago. Plus, red and cream would tie it in with the two tone used on the body OR just do them all cream as on the English Bedford above?

Hubcaps are also in my wishful thinking agenda, maybe . . . ?

I have gotta agree with everyone else

Looking fantastic, well done

I would of thought the black around the rim would of looked the goods, but I like brown and beige with a red chassis so probably don't listen to a word I have said

Keep it, your making great progress

The quip about your grandson is gold.
About 30 years ago, I was at a workmate's place with my motorbike. (c1973 Suzuki GT250, which I still have). His 2 year old son pointed to the headlight and, looking at his dad proudly said "light". Very good says dad. Points at the tail light and again says "light". Very good! Then points to the gauges and says assuredly, "tik tok!" We all burst out laughing!

Enjoying your updates, thanks, Jarrod.

Thanks all, and although the thread continues rambling along, the end of the tunnel is apparently only lit by candles . . .

. . . and is still a  L-O-N-G   way off!

PS   Paul: Incidentally brown and beige was a very strong possibility when I first started, ala Farmers Union Ice Coffee.
