Snuck round a backstreet to be a good boy and not do an illegal U turn ,To be held up by a copper on wide load escort duty . Big mack and dolly and BIG float with the top deck of a komatsu PC1000 was trying to get through into their gates . Funny thing was the gate was a different shape after he went though it .Ian .

Yup certainly have been altho I'm not too sure if they are still running much out of there since the GFC appently they sacked a heap of people from CAT down that way a while back. Not sure if these guys were doing that as they are an associate of CAT.

Here is a post I did over at Hankstruckpictures Forum back in June 2007.




I had to deliver some steel to a company called Haulmax this week and this is what they build.

Straddle carriers
These carry the slabs onto the RORO ship
They would be around the 90's vintage
Powered with V6 GM's i think.......
