Transport names from yesterday..

Hi there, just recently bought a 1979 S2 Kenworth, ex Cronulla Carrying, Chassis Number : 403299. Looking for any information, photos etc. Also, if anyone has any information and photos as well, being a past owner of a Haxton Haulage W-model Kenworth. Be greatly appreciated.

It should have fairly low ks on it for its age, Has it got a 692 in it?

yeah has a 692,9 speed on torsion bar.

It was one of the local trucks carting Lube Oil out of Caltex, very rearly it might have picked up a load of steel out of Port Kembla for Sydney delivery.

Who was the mob from Corowa who had an S Model and carted grog? They had one stolen round Mittagong way one night. I think the truck was recovered but the grog wasn't!
