I'm glad you remember Porky's. He was the first IPEC depot in the Northern Territoy. You rekon that sounds funny, try walking into HD Development {Harley Davidson in Lt. Lonsdale st. Melb.} early 80's and asking for a parcel for PORKY'S PICKUPS. The looks I got!!!!!!

hoarder1-Toll Holdings sure have acquired a few companies in recent years. A couple of N.Z. firms they took over in the last 5 or so years are United Carriers, Whangarei, Northland, and Kaitaia Transport which was a subsidiary of United. United Carriers probably ran the biggest fleet north of Auckland. I couldn't see them in your list, but they may be there and I missed them. Linfox are in a big way over here too, two of the firms they took over are Provincial Freightlines, formerly Thames Freightlines, and Total Transport. K & S Freighters operate in Kiwiland too, I think they acquired Cochrane's Transport from Cambridge.-Hamish Petrie

Mills Transport Lismore. Established in 1924 in Burringbar in northern New South Wales. One of the early transport tasks was the cartage of cream and bananas from the farms to the railway. Semi-trailers were introduced to the fleet in the 1950
