Swishy that is a Vortox 16" oil bath air cleaner.... Exactly the same as the Ansett S-models and I have absolutely no idea why they went that way with the mirror brackets. Cheers JOTS.

and notice on the trial bay shot (ch/no 100626) the cut down air cleaner elephant ear that was peculiar to these earliest jiggers, and which the earliest ansett rigs (ch/no's 76639/40) hasn't got !

Yes Swishy, all the above would be correct and it would be at Doncaster as it is not registered yet...
Cheers JOTS.

this truck, i believe jimmy, is the second unit... only going by the yellow bumper whereas the first and third for trial bay had the red bumper..afterwards fitted with a bullbar.

Thanks for that Detective, Don't worry about the basket case.If you have a pair of chassis rails there with the numbers 102282 stamped in them, that would do me for a S-model.As for the cab try a bit of bog and ducting tape.LOL.
So would this be the third S-model????
Cheers James.
