Swishy that is a Vortox 16" oil bath air cleaner.... Exactly the same as the Ansett S-models and I have absolutely no idea why they went that way with the mirror brackets. Cheers JOTS.

..without digging too deep, i think the liquid cartage S 922 had the same looking mirror brackets..

and notice on the trial bay shot (ch/no 100626) the cut down air cleaner elephant ear that was peculiar to these earliest jiggers, and which the earliest ansett rigs (ch/no's 76639/40) hasn't got ! :-? :-? :-/

this truck, i believe jimmy, is the second unit... only going by the yellow bumper whereas the first and third for trial bay had the red bumper..afterwards fitted with a bullbar.

for the forum members, this second trial bay S model ''survives'' as an absolute basket case for future consideration..cheers

Yes Swishy, all the above would be correct and it would be at Doncaster as it is not registered yet...

Thanks for that Detective, Don't worry about the basket case.If you have a pair of chassis rails there with the numbers 102282 stamped in them, that would do me for a S-model.As for the cab try a bit of bog and ducting tape.LOL.
So would this be the third S-model????
Cheers James.
