at least the yanks put the exhaust up the LH side on these jiggers...not like the earliest aussie peterbilt conventionals

Yes great pic Swishy... Sorry also,but I just couldn't fit in the 950km trip each way on the week-end...
Was Ed Cameron really there!!!!!
Also notice in your pic how close that tanker is to the back of the cab.... Cheers JOTS.

G'day Detective, interesting point about the right hand side spare wheel.Also regarding the left hand exhaust... wonder what would was the therory to the right hand exhaust on the COEs???? Cheers James.

this trial bay rig is one of the very few of the forty aussie S models that has gone to ground and still had the (curved, swishy :) mirror brackets when advertised in a mid 1990's deals on wheels for sale, semi restored.....it's out there somewhere
