Sometimes Sayings.

Southbound those poor little lovies spend most of there day thinking up ideas make life difficult for the working man eg filling out forms for this and that there called PUBLIC SERVENTS how else are they going to raise money to pay there wages:evil: :evil:

I like to deliberately miss-spell it as PUBIC servants!

Years ago, when I was driving our 30 foot bus converted to a motorhome, I pulled in to a service station and had to wait for a pump to become vacant. Two did at the same time and a young guy in a car roared past me and pulled in to one of the vacant places. I went to pay and the young guy walked in behind me. I said to the man behind the counter "Serve this man first, he is in a terrible hurry" Young bloke caught what I meant and embarrassed, mumbled that my motorhome would not have fitted in to the area he used.
When he had gone, the man behind the counter laughed and said "you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar"
We had a good laugh and I told him that was one of my Mother's sayings.

Some months ago, I was in a mate's workshop when he was about to use a cut-off saw. He searched around and said he was looking for the tool to adjust the guide fence. His Wife was there and she asked "are you looking for this screw thing with a hole in it?" and held up an open end/ ring spanner.

Morris, I thought you were going to say, She held up her skirt!
