Hello Fill,
I sent you a PM (personal message)
Click on Channel 40 at the top of the page.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Hi Sarge,
They have to take photos, my car mechanic and the two truck mechanics said the same thing. In Queensland you have to get a roadworthy regularly, not sure of the time frame but you do not take the drums off.
With the truck licence because I have sleep apnoea, I would have to get a specialist report every year (two to three hundred dollars),a medical every year (one hundred and twenty dollars). All that can not be claimed on medicare. To keep my car licence, because I ticked the sleep apnoea box, I have to get a medical report every two years- I opened up a can of worms. Seventy percent of the population has a degree of sleep apnoea ( mostly undiagnosed). I plan to get a truck licence if I can not get it de-rated.
Thanks for your comments Sarge, they are always welcome.
Cheers Fill

Had an opportunity to have a look at Fills Bedford yesterday and all I can say is that he has done a fantastic job restoring it. It could easily sit in a showroom as a new truck. Keep up the good work Fill.

Geez Fill!
If mine ever came out half as good as yours, I'd leave it in the shed and build a glass case around it!
Trouble is, you have raised the bar for the rest of us wannabe's.
Great Stuff!
Dave

Fantastic job Fill, and that colour really looks good. B)

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Here's a copy & paste from page 5 of this..
www.nhvr.gov.au/files/201707-0651-vsb6-s...s-vehicle-rating.pdf

• Do not reduce a GVM rating simply in order to reduce statutory
charges (registration fees, toll charges etc.) that apply to the
vehicle at the manufacturer's original GVM, unless supported by:
− a design specification certifying the alternative rating issued by
the vehicle manufacturer; or
− a design certificate issued by an accredited S2 (GVM) or S3
(GCM) AVE.
• Ensure the vehicle complies with all ADRs applicable to the
vehicle at the revised GVM/GCM rating.
• Ensure the vehicle’s GCM rating exceeds the revised GVM.
• Ensure the modification plate contains the changed GVM/GCM
rating.
