Too late now, but, since I have no need to put a ton and a half in the ASW, I took several leaves out. Something to consider later, if you find the ride harsh.

Slowly reassembling the chassis, always seems to take longer than you expect. Have installed most of the air lines, tank and other brackets, steering box, cab springs, shocks etc. At the same time, I am still painting parts, putting the diffs back together as well as a multitude of other jobs. Next up is to paint the diffs and get them back in and then finish up the brakes. A few progress photos below.

Chassis still coming back together. Was rapt to get the 2 diffs back in this weekend as that was always going to be one of the bigger jobs and not something I could do on my own. Probably fitting the gearbox back in will be the last big lift as the engine and cab I can do with a fork lift. The brakes and bearings are the next job.

I think it always feels good to get a few of the big things back together


Just remember "Cam" and "Anchor" when you rivit the shoes back on

I have learnt this the hard way lol

Wedge brakes not S cam so no need to worry!

Only one of the original axle bump stops had survived so I had another 5 made up. The original is on the left.
