PDU,
Stop it, you are catching up with me. Just under five years to go.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Thank you muchly one and all, I am humbled by your salutations

The day was spent in the following order:
1. Men's Shed - but wood had not arrived for additional wall frames, and wiring was in a similar shortage situation, so I returned home.
2. Kill Rust along the upper surface of the original chassis; no where near complete, but I'll get there in time . . .
3. Checked on an elderly ladies' verandah post, which I will fix in quiet moments.
4. Appraised a theatre seat that requires new legs and other minor repairs.
5. Collected three old china figurines that need electric lights fitted inside (one complete but in need of help, and two with non existent fittings!).
6. Wondered how I'm going to extract an old Coca Cola fridge cabinet from a house full of furniture and bric-a-brac???
7. Took wife to Bingo, where she is the caller  and I am the resident heckler :P
8. Packed away tables, etc after Bingo.
9. Dragged myself across to the pub for a beer, with wife, grand-daughter, and another local.
10. After dropping grand-daughter home, returned to cook myself some dinner.
11. Threw some wood into the fire and lit it.
12. Shared my tea with the dog who was giving me dirty looks (he KNOWS I haven't taken him for a walk for two days now!)
13. Checked computer emails . . .
14. Reinvigorated fire that wife had let go out! :pinch:
AND 15.Created this comment.

Phew, may I be excused now (before I wet myself)? Life is all too easy round here.

Glad you enjoyed your very special day PDU. Looks as if the dinner was a big one and required a nice snooze in front of the fire to digest and continue the deep thoughts on the continuing plan on "B is for Bedford".
Happy Birthday mate, from all of us.

Where's all my time going? Can you believe I'm now caught up with looking after our local Op Shop for July!? It is becoming a wee bit frustrating, but that's the way it is for us retirees who support local organisations . . .

Did get my bonnet and side panels back from sand blasting ;) with the two side panels looking magnificent, but the bonnet, although still nice and straight, requiring some further attention. They didn't want to risk hitting it too hard - which is testament to their level of understanding, and a relief as a perforated or corrugated panel is not what I wanted.

Original chassis still waiting for a coat of chassis black . . . maybe tomorrow? Sunday, day of rest
