In the '80s a house mover on the Central Coast had an MN with dual wheels all round to cope with soft ground on some sites. From memory it was GM power.

Here are some photos of 30 years ago at Beenleigh Truck Wreckers. I went back about 4 times convinced I was going to buy all 3 but common sense prevailed. All of them are now restored and appearing at shows.

Hi lang many years ago i carted water for longyear drilling in the coal fields, and most of the riggs were sled mounted but we were at baralaba and one of them turned truck mounted. Those two side by side in your pic looks like the one  (rumoured they had two) the one that was on the job was on 24 inch tyres and cummins powered (either 220  or 250) two sticks but i think 5 speed with underdrive as another gear but not splitable so only 6 gears the one with the frame of the bumper looks awful lot like it ,always wondered what happened to it kelvin ps was a long time ago

I believe I have seen all three of them in different hands fully restored at shows. Maybe someone has photos. The Fg if I recall is now bright yellow and one of the LJ's is green.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
    my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
    I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
