Swishy my nuts were too tight to undoLOL only problem was the handbrake between the seats .The gear lever was out of the way in the early models put it in the first gear position & bobs your uncle

My list is pretty short...

10 different EJ Holden's... 6 of which I bought, drove a few hundred Ks then wrecked for parts the for better ones
1EJ wagon that was given to me in exchange for some mechanical and driving work I did... That was my work bus for a fair while.... And the only car I ever sold for a profit... Doubled my money

1 HR Wagon which was also my work bus, then when I met the missus I kinda changed it into a camper for those lovely touring weekends we used to do... Mrs Werk even made some matching light blue curtains for it that matched the paint.

Then the one car I still kick my ass for selling.... A very original low milage HR Premier with a heck of a lot of Nasco accessories fitted.

Then for about 6-7 years I never owned a car as my life consisted of living in the truck most of the day which I then took home.... If it was worth going home (time wise) before starting the next day... Not that I didn't want to be going home...

Then I had to buy a run around to get to work in 2012... A little early model Nissan Pulsar that couldn't handle the job and shat the gearbox after about 2 years

So it was replaced with an 89 model Camry... Which ended up leaving me stranded on the side of the road with massive electrical issues.... Plus I hated the auto in it

And currently I have a 92 Camry that is powering along like a champion... And it's a manual.... So I bunged on an old RT613 chrome gear knob just to feel like it is a big rig

You might Laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same

Southbound, sorry mate still in a million bits (although in a different garage) very little progress due to heatlth and having to shift house, (relocated an old house to Elmore) this put any time in shed off for 18mths as well. Health issue has left me with 3/4 of one kidney, slows me down somewhat?
P.s. missing my bourbon

fxs80 do you have some current pics of your D2 Inter?

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Dad had a 29k Desoto in the 70's, ended up at a Mount Isa collector.
Great tourer, as good as anything 50 years on.
