The early Holdens ,there was a 12 months waiting list to get one.......and lots of corruption too.......my old man was on the list for ages ,kept getting put back,so he got his brother to apply ,he was a ex POW ,and a farmer ,should have got one straight away, but someone else kept jumping the que........eventually he had to take a ute with a canopy......which he rolled almost straight away.......anyway the old man got sick of waiting ,and got a Pugeot instead.....choice was that or an Armstrong Siddely, and he wasnt having that.

Wont list all, but several I should have kept:
1938 Ford Woody-a one off built by Hastings Deering, different to the Yank versions.
1939 Ford Deluxe Ute-still had the original purchase receipt in the glovebox, rego number was GT 066, came from Mulga Park at Bourke
1858 Star Model Customline, went everywhere as a young bloke in that, totally reliable, never broke down once.
1968 Falcon GT traded for a Land Cruiser Troopy, well I was young 'n stupid.
1950 Single Spinner, only sold that 3 years ago
1974 Inter D1310 4 x 4 -went same time as Spinner
1976 Dodge D5N 300 -probably my most missed-owned that for donkeys years-anyway life goes on.
