VL was a straight six not a V6 they came later.

I stand corrected. My memory not so good for the more recent stuff. Wasn't a favourite of mine I must admit - it was a company leased car as part of my salary package, and I bought out the lease (at a very good price) when I retired.

Edit. In my mind now, I can 'see' the inline 6 in the engine bay. Was there something about that 6 that sticks in my mind? Was that the Nissan engine?
