g'day cunning and all .. they're both alive and loved :-* :-* !!

keith's (R.I.P.) restored cabover is down in willunga in SA and the old conventional is in good hands up around barrington tops in NSW...although, last known quite a few years ago as being quite original, but unrestored

ps .. a couple of corrections to the previous post in that the TNT conventional was a 281 ST ...and possibly owned by arthur ridley at that stage....cheers

hey phil,i dont think arthur ridley owned it then, because he owned a pub down the road from cooks river rail, wich is where that pic was taken.the pub is where he parked the truck, his workshop ect,ect...i remenber a caption in the second edition of that book saying that the owner of the truck replied to a comment of the truck being derilict, responding by saying it was waiting for new batteries.unless it was an emergency breakdown,a/r would have done this at the back of his pub or tnt workshops.

Thanks Detective for da info. It is sad to see them like that, Oyamum. There was also another three behind these two with a W range KW besides the Hayes cab. Geoff

Rockwiz

Im sure these trucks in your pictures have been up on the forum before with a bit of history, about 12 months ago from memory.
