A was for Austin, but now B is for Bedford

Where I'm at currently, as I said, looks pretty much the same but now with a decided rust sheen to it, courtesy my somewhat leaky caravan shed!

Sheeting is only loosely fitted with two sections still to make, but busy with sorting out basic arrangements in the back, including stabilising the lift up roof.

Feels a bit like the never ending story . . .

PDU,
It looks to me as though you are making good progress. As others have said everything takes longer than you would expect and the last ten percent takes ninety percent of the time. Keep up the good work and don't forget to keep putting up pictures for us.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Quick picture, just for you Morris . . .

Recent purchase, el cheapo flea bay special LED park/indicator light and they are even the right size to fit in the Bedford side lights. ;)

Thanks PDU,
To use a pretty terrible pun, that is making light work of it. Ho Ho.

I think they are too big for the Morris three tonner I am working on but the sidelights on the guards look OK. (I have not taken them apart) I am planning to convert the non-original white lights somebody has put each end of the grille to flashing indicators by replacing the white covers with amber ones. An Auto-electrician I know says that the existing turn indicators on the guards do not meet regulations for blinkers but are OK for repeaters.

my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

When I first saw the rear body photo I thought you had a contract to supply the town police paddy-wagon for the next Hobbit movie but then I saw the pop-top frame and understood your thinking. Looking good,

Morris, with the age of your truck it's well before ADR's became effective so almost anything goes.

Personally I would disregard the Auto Sparky and make your own enquiries.
