Dave, by then it will be going like a dream or in the bin. Sounds like a plan though. I'll be there with or without her.

I don't plan on going anywhere, so ill see the posts. I hope i havent put anyone offside with my error.

Crikey, your topic is getting some air time Bono. Its what the forum is all about. Good Podge has joined in with his input.
From some reserch over the weekend in my books your buggy Should be a 1950A, DV550B engine, T-54 Trans and a two speed RA-137 Diff.
The F1950A version is tandem drive with a joey box.
Putting all the " what it should be aside" your stuck with what you have. I have the manuals you will need so let me know exactly which bits you need and I will get copying.
The engine manual is CTSA-1200, Blue cover which covers the A series ACCO D-358 and DV-550B engines. CTSA- 2600 Rev 1,ACCO A series, parts A & B for the rest of the truck. There is two different types of RA-137 diff. You will have to let me know if its the front drive or top drive???? I have manuals for both types. There was two ratio sets available for this diff 7.10/9.01 and 5.63/7.73. Tooth count is stamped in pinion end for identification. Divide big number by the small to get ratio.

Hi Barry,

Telling me, like a roller coaster, first i'm up, then down, then up again, cant tell you how happy i was at finding my error. Would a pic help as to front drive or top drive. The electric motor drops in from the top and attaches to the right( passenger side ) of the housing. I'll find out on the ratio.

From the pics can you tell what the front axle is for kingpin assembly and installation.

I'll be tackling the gear box in the next day so any info on that would be great

Not sure if i have everything but i'll let you know.

Bono, The row of bolts that hold the diff center in the housing are they on the horizontal plane, ie paralell to the floor or on the vertical plane, in ya face when your looking at the front of the diff. ??

Just on the T54, do you have to split every gear or is it split down the middle, ie 12345 split 6789 10. Best I've driven is my inter 1510 (still got her too) so i would'nt know
