g'day all .. dick blackwell was the owner of anzol paints and operated two conventional ex alltrans peterbilts, both 250 and 4X4...the other being ch/no 22059 and both occasionally pulled a single axle acetate tanker with 22059 ending up at dick's property at burren junction and 22060 going from anzol directly to pete mc kenzie

cheers

There is absolutely nothing I can add.
I am , however , interested in the JLP Peterbilt.
I worked for JLP for a while and remember a bloke with that Peterbilt telling me it once belonged to the company.
From memory he was carting freight in and out of DCs around Melbourne.
Speaking of JLP , that would be a good thread.
A lot of history there too..

john l pierce operated a second peterbilt being the ex ron phillips 282M 4X2 cabover sleeper (ch/no 18545).

ron sold the truck to JLP when he joined the firm and it was unfortunately burnt out and written off in an accident on the putty road around the late 1970's...? when in the new colour scheme of that period

ps .. 20,000 views coming up soon....another decent dedication for a worthy soul...

G'Day and thanks for your support Swishy, With all that Red Oval input, I'd be guessing you'd be naked, tearing around the depot yelling out the Premiem PACCAR Brand. ;D
