Complete spare engine cheapest and easiest if the engine is a known quantity. IMO.

Couple of weeks ago on fbook marktplace I see a guy selling a V8 Terrier in a million bits ,everything rebuilt for a ground up resto never done .......I sort of considered it for a minute ,then naaa ...Im too old ...was very cheap tho..............As some here may know ,my Terrier lives in a bush now ..........at least I think its still there.

They were a great little truck to drive .....no power steering,and they didnt need it ........mine was the 4l Mazda Perkins motor,and it went really well .....better fuel economy than my Inter by a lot,and it would easily hold 60 mph on the highway ........the back axle was absolute crap on mine ,but the V8 petrol truck had the Austin 4 ton axle made in England ,and they had no diff trouble at all.
